Our Riding School passed council inspection with flying colours, awarded a 3 year licence and a 5⭐️ rating. In addition to this we are in the process of becoming BHS accredited along with opening up our very own Pony Club. We have some of the best instructors in the business, most of which are BHSAI qualified specialising in either Dressage, Cross Country or Show Jumping. Whatever your chosen discipline we have something for everyone. Not only do we have exceptional training facilities we have some exceptional horses and ponies for you to train with around these facilities. We have a vision and want our yard to be a training centre of excellence where you can come with or without your own horse or pony and train with us long term or short term including boot camp packages. We have a Jump Academy on a Thursday evening, Dressage Academy on a Friday evening and XC Clinics running every Saturday afternoon. Welcome to Ampfield Riding Stables. We offer instruction for ages 4 years old to 70 years years old. Our ponies and horses, combined with our enthusiastic instructors aim to provide you with not only expert tuition but fun. We try to keep our lessons small, with no more than 4 – 8 in a group. All groups will be made up of similar standards . We provide training from complete beginners to advanced in flatwork and showjumping, we have a purpose built lunge pen for lunge lessons and the very nervous. Gerda Weston has an excellent reputation in helping riders to reach their full potential. Gerda worked with the Royal Family’s horses before starting her teaching career in 1972. Once her daughter Anna Beck started competing in 1986 Gerda devoted her time in training Anna to the highest level.Please ring or email us to enquire about our other activities, including own a pony days, pony parties and more.
