Attraction Information
Walk on the wild side at Suffolk Owl Sanctuary with over 80 modern-day raptors! Visit owls, eagles and vultures at home in their aviaries or flying free in displays and demonstrations.
Join your winged pals on a woodland walk, in the Barclays Sensory Garden or watch as they soar and swoop in the daily flying displays. You can learn all about the owls in the information centre, or join the ‘Young Falconers' course to get a hands-on intro with these impressive hunters. The team has now also introduced some red squirrels and meerkats! You can watch these cuties be fed twice daily.
The heart of the sanctuary is their Rescue & Rehabilitation Facility. Here the team carefully tend to injured owls so that they can return to the wild. Their enthusiasm is infectious and would be a wonderful way to introduce kids to the world of animal care. Then to blow off some extra steam, kids can explore the mini maze and an adventure frame. There’s wheelchair accessible equipment and guests are welcome to bring a picnic. You can even book birthdays here!
