About Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre
Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre is perfect for all active families out there - you'll find the three-tier Play World soft play area, The Cragg climbing wall, plus loads of indoor and outdoor sports and activities to try. This means you’ll get to have fun whatever the weather!
If your little ones love soft play then head straight for Play World, packed full of scramble nets, ball pools and slides. Perfect for kids aged under 12, there's even a special area for babies and under 5's too.
Or are you all up for something a little more challenging? Face the heights of The Cragg Wall and explore 330 square metres of climbing space. With a variety of Junior Courses, your little monkeys will be scaling the walls in no time! Casual climbing sessions are available for everyone over 6 years old, while climbing lessons can start from 5 years old.
Meanwhile, with 3 swimming pools, Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre accommodates all ages and skill levels. There’s a special pool for tots where your tiny sprogs are welcome to have fun and splash around. Non-confident swimmers can polish their skills in the learner pool, while everyone else has a huge, 25-metre, 6-lane pool to enjoy.
The centre boasts a modern gym with more than 100 stations of top-of-the-range cardio, resistance, free weights and functional equipment to suit everyone. Supervised gym sessions are available for children over 11 years old.

Play World soft play in Stowmarket
Play World soft play is a fantastic indoor soft play and play centre for children 0 – 12 years with three dedicated play areas for Juniors, under 5’s and babies with a comfortable seating area for parents. Watch your children scale new heights in the multi-tier structure, while they have fun with slides, tubes, nets, walls and balls!
The Cragg climbing wall
Mid Suffolk Leisure centre boasts East Anglia’s premier climbing facility in the form of The Cragg climbing wall. With 330 square metres of climbing surface, a dedicated bouldering wall and more than 30 lead and top rope lines, there's plenty of climbing to enjoy - and the routes are changed regularly too in order to keep them challenging. Sessions are available for climbers of all ages and abilities, and everyone over just 5 years old can take climbing lessons too.
Three swimming pools to enjoy
Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre has not one, not two, but three swimming pools! With a main 25m pool, a learner pool and a toddler’s pool, all members of the family can enjoy the water, whatever their confidence and experience level. The main pool hosts all manner of aquatic activities, including lane swimming, family-friendly sessions, inflatable fun and Everyone Active’s award-winning swimming lessons.
