Good place for children to let off steam! 4 out of 5 stars
Went here on Sunday 21st January 2018 with grandchildren aged 2 and 3. Clean friendly place, food reasonably priced, (like the 5 star hygiene rating). No long wait despite being busy. Good that you are not timed but stay as long as you like! Only gripe is that older children were allowed in babies and toddler area who were obviously a lot older than 3! Many were with parents who had babies with them, so they thought it ok to let the older ones in. Upper age 3 should mean 3. Two parents should go if the ages are that variable.
JPCOriginal but no longer the best 3 out of 5 stars
Great place in principle and has certainly stood the test of time as one of the areas oldest-serving indoor play centres; but sadly starting to show its age now (it’s been there over 20 years after all, had a couple of facelifts in that time but with the opening of other more modern centres around Ipswich it’s starting show its age). More soft/vinyl flooring and less carpet inside the play areas would go a long way toward modernising the place. Also a couple of easier-access points for adults wouldn’t go amiss! The toddler zone is good tho but a bit expensive for what you get compared to the same price for bigger kids. Weekday pricing during term time is nice. No-food-except-our-food policy is understandable and the prices aren’t too awful and menu fairly varied. Overall it’s clean, friendly, well-lit compared to some places we’ve visited and plenty of space for adults to view the play areas to keep an eye on little folk. Also gets bonus points for being close to home.
