Berrow Beach
Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset and BristolAbout Berrow Beach
The kids love going to the beach? We've got the perfect place for you! Pack all your spades, buckets and rakes and get ready to build a sand castle at Berrow Beach near Bristol.
This stunning large beach is perfect for long walks and horse riding. It's also dog-friendly, so bring your four-legged friends and let them enjoy running along the 6-mile stretch of sand.
A lazy day at the beach is a firm family favourite - just unwind and enjoy the sun to the sound of kids playing and waves washing on the shore with a quiet “Woosh”. Berrow is quieter than most beaches, so it's an ideal location to sit and watch the sunset. If you visit at low tide, you can even see the remains of a shipwreck at the bottom of the sea!
- Europe's 2nd longest stretch of sand
- Dogs are welcome
- Real shipwreck visible at low tide
