Attraction Information

Stuck for day out ideas? Take a trip to England's only true Mountain Forest which, luckily enough, also homes a high ropes adventure 1000 ft above sea level. Go Ape Whinlatter might just be the answer to your day out dreams!
This is one of the highest Tree Top Challenges in the country, sitting at 360m above sea level, featuring cargo nets, rope ladders, zip wires and more. At that kind of altitude zip wires feel especially fast, particularly as you fly far above the waters of the Lake District. The adrenaline junkies amongst you will also have a blast on the formidable Tarzan Swing - it’s sure to give you a thrill.
This is perhaps one of the most dramatic Go Ape locations - in the distance spy incredible Scottish views, while closer to home spot some of the rare local wildlife. There’s no better way to explore than on the all-terrain Forest Segway Adventure. It’s an off-road adventure for all the family to enjoy!
