King Kong Climbing Centre

King Kong Climbing Centre gives you loads of opportunities to have active fun with your friends or family. If you fancy an exciting climb, there are several walls to try, depending on your experience, plus a feature wall and a 12m (39ft) high tower. There are taster sessions so you can see what all the fuss is about, plus Kids Fun Climbing Hour, a Junior Climbing Club and a Youth Climbing Academy. If you want a different type of climbing challenge, there is an indoor Cave System, which is 50m (164ft) long and full of different twists and turns to explore in the dark as you are led through by an instructor. There is an After School Cub on Wednesdays, plus kids clubs at the weekends, for ages 7 and up on Saturday and ages 5 to 6 on Sundays. If the younger ones just want to run around, there is a Hard Play area with a castle, dragon and tunnels, plus slides and a ball pool. There is also a small soft play area for kids aged 2 and under, which has a ball pool too. Prefer to climb outdoors? They offer a number of courses such as Mountain Walks, Ghyll Scrambling and Outdoor Rock Climbing.
