Waterside Pool
Ryde, Isle of WightAbout Waterside Pool
Waterside Pool may look like a normal pool, however it has a secret weapon that’s initiated by the sun!
Situated next to the boating lake and the beach in Ryde you might find yourself getting envious of those out there in the open air, enjoying the water and all the benefits of a sunny summers day. Well hold onto your goggles because Waterside has a little trick up its sleeve – it is one of the only pools in the UK with a retractable roof!
That’s right, while you’ve swimming your lengths, enjoying a class or just playing with the kids you can bask in the warmth of the sun streaming down on you through the open roof. There is also a sauna cabin and members-only lido area with special outdoor exercise equipment, table tennis and a relaxing seating area for those who feel a little less energetic!
It’s like two pools in one!
