Southsea Beach

Head down to Southsea Beach in Hampshire, a great shingle beach that’s got plenty going for it, plus there’s some great views across on the pier. 

Don’t forget to bring along the swimming costumes, because the water here is perfect for little ones to splash about and go for a paddle. Keep your eye on the tide, because despite the beach being mostly shingle, a little bit of sand can be found at low tide - quick, grab the bucket and spade!
