Attraction Information

Activities at Island Equus are more oriented toward the benefits of training and studying the animals than on actually riding them, a holistic and significant experience of the species without skimping on the fun, but not the place for you if you're after a simple beach donkey style walk!
No prior experience of horses or riding is needed, and many activities take place without the need to ride at all! Activities and unique challenges are structured to help build confidence through gradual progression and increasing awareness instead of a quick-fix ride, much more satisfying to intelligent kids!
Their in-depth equine experience includes challenges in communication, teamwork, respect and leadership, so kids can really come away feeling boosted and inspired! They feel here that skills learnt working with horses can be easily transferred to the wider world and encourages communication to be quietly assertive without aggression. A great lesson for us all!
