Owl and Monkey Haven provides a relaxed environment to a number of primates and birds of prey, mainly owls, that were in desperate need of care and attention, but now live happy and carefree lives at this centre.

Seasonal Events
There is a great daily events programme between April and October, which includes a variety of feedings to watch, reptile encounters, plus a chance to meet hand reared owls.
Meet the animals
There is a pretty diverse collection of primates to see, from lazy lemurs, to noisy gibbons, and cheeky monkeys! They all live in spacious enclosures designed to suit their needs, and they are all fascinating to watch. Especially during one of the feeding times!
The Haven is also home to a number of different species of owl, from the Arctic Snowy Owl to the tiny Australian Boobook! There are also 2 Common Buzzards, called Emma and Nelson.
Quiz Trails
There are a number of other features that are sure to entertain the kids, especially if you visit the Wise Owl Lodge, a fully heated building open to all visitors with a range of activities available. These include quiz trails, an interactive map and colouring! There is also a small selection of rescued reptiles at the Lodge that you can meet in the twice daily reptile encounters.
Children's Play Area
The Funky Monkey Play Area is designed for kids aged 5 and older and features a variety of equipment including slides, towers, swings, rope bridges and more! The area has been designed to look like a monkey enclosure, complete with Homo Sapiens information board! There is also a Cheeky Monkey Play Area for younger visitors (under 5 years), with tricycles, a play hut, bubble cars, springies and a slide.
