Torre Abbey Historic House and Gallery
offers visitors Medieval Abbey Ruins to explore, a Historic House and Gardens, Interactive Galleries and Art Collections plus Childrens Trails, Events and Activities.
Inside the house, there is a Learning Lab with exciting interactive exhibits. All the displays include a great deal of whizzy technology for example as you pass him, the armoured knight will suddenly begin reminiscing about how he turned the Abbey into a luxurious Tudor house!
Outside, children will particularly love the Childrens Medieval Garden enclosed within a hand made wattle fence, with turf seats, willow tunnels, sensory planting and a fountain. There are opportunities to explore, touch, and taste!
You will find loads of picnic spots but there is also a tearoom and shop if you fancy a bite to eat.
