About Poppins Pottery
Poppins Pottery is a family run business where you can visit alone, with friends or family and enjoy getting creative with clay. We have plenty of blank pottery (bisque) just waiting to be painted and lots of inspiration if you're stuck for ideas. Our sponges, stamps and stencil are available too so you don't have to be creative to enjoy.
Grandparents adore the hand and foot print keepsakes created by the little one's with the adult helper's input in decorating - we can assist with every step in capturing those little prints and adding writing if required.
The older children just love decorating the blank pottery and seeing the transformation once it has been kiln fired.
Clay workshops just for kids are available throughout the school holidays and your little people can visit Poppins Pottery to engage in this natural medium and explore the possibilites of clay creations.
Booking a table at Poppins Pottery is advised although we do occasionally have walk in availability.

Please check our facebook page for any changes as opening hours can vary. We operate Thurs-Sun 10am-4pm during school term times and Tues-Sun 10am-5pm during the school holidays. Groups can book to visit outside these hours.

- Adult (17-18+) : £14.00
Prices to paint pottery vary depending on the item chosen. Blank Pottery is available to paint with prices ranging between £10-£30 to include all glazing and kiln firing.

Pay & display carparks are situated within a few minutes walk from Poppins Pottery. We recommend parking in the Chilcote Close pay and display car park and going through the walkway opposite into the pedestrianised shopping precinct to reach the Poppins Pottery studio.
