Attraction Information
Torquay Museum
is a family-friendly museum with games, quizzes and trails plus blockbuster summer exhibitions designed to engage children and adults alike.
Travel back through 400 million years of time, hunt down the clues in the spooky Curse of the Mummys Hand game, crack the secret code on the Explorers Trail, and detect your way through the Agatha Christie gallery, dedicated to the life story of the Queen of Crime, there is plenty to occupy families at this museum.
The first Saturday of every month is a Monster Saturday, with lots of hands-on creative and scientific activities to help families explore and learn together. Plus they run popular Holiday Workshops each half-term and holiday, providing fun and educational sessions for children to attend without their parents.
A shop might tempt you into parting with some pennies and there is a cafe if it all gets too much for you to take in!
