This leisure centre in Oadby, Leicestershire, features an amazing four-tier Play World soft play zone, complete with wave slides, drop slides, spider web, trampolines, fun brick house and lots more exciting features for kids up to and including 12 years old. There's a dedicated area for those aged three and under, with a ball pool and fun brick house. And for the bigger kids there's a yellow drop slide - one for the older children to try if they dare! With so much to explore, this soft play area will keep your little ones busy for hours (just remember to bring socks for everyone going on the equipment!).
Fancy having a go at indoor climbing? Parklands is also home to Fun Climb - an indoor climbing centre, featuring 18 routes and obstacles, designed for climbers as young as 4 (minimum 10kg). All equipment is included and you need no previous experience, which means you can try it anytime you like. It's a fun activity for both kids and adults, and a great way to get exercise too. So, are you ready to race the kids to the top?
And if you and your family enjoy the water, you'll love the 25m swimming pool at Parklands Leisure Centre. The family swimming sessions are perfect for everyone - floats and fun toys may be available, and you can bring along your own too. The pool also hosts Everyone Active's award winning swimming lessons for anyone from the age of 4 months old, all the way up to adult lessons, so everyone has the chance to gain confidence and skill in the water. There are even Rookie Lifeguard lessons available for the stronger swimmers, for older children who are looking to learn a new, life-saving skill.
Guess what! Parklands Leisure Centre is also one of Leicester’s premier sports venues, featuring indoor badminton for juniors and adults, basketball, kurling, table tennis and more! So, put your kits on and unleash your competitive side!

The 25m, six-lane modern, open and welcoming swimming pool is open throughout the day, with family swimming sessions every weekend and throughout the school holidays.
Play World soft play
The fantastic Play World soft play zone at Parklands Leisure Centre boasts a four tier multi-activity soft play structure, featuring slides and trampolines. Play World is available for casual play sessions as well as exclusive hire parties for an experience to remember, just remember to bring your socks to go on the equipment!
Fun Climb - climbing for all the family!
Fun climb is an entertaining activity for the whole family to enjoy at Leicester’s premier Fun Climb centre, Parklands Leisure Centre. To enjoy Fun Climb, you require no previous climbing experience and it’s the easiest and safest way to get into the sport. The centre provides all the necessary equipment, you just need to be ready for fun! Climbers must be at least six years old and weigh a minimum of 10kg. Not only is it a fun activity for both kids and adults, but a great way to get exercise too!
