In a building now steeped with history, the previous 81-year-old iconic ice rink has been refurbished by Lambeth Council into a brand new leisure and ice skating complex. The new Streatham Ice Rink boasts fully refurbished facilities and is better than ever before with an Olympic-sized ice rink and almost 1000 spectator seats! An excellent leisure facility for families. They have a jam-packed skating for all ages and abilities, with specific disciplines catered for in independent sessions and live professional matches often played here too! There's also swimming pools, sports hall and a gym.

Ice Skating
As well as the obvious Public Sessions which are great for families and young beginners, they also offer trendy (and loud!) Ice Discos, Ice Hockey, Ice Dance and Figure Skating. All of which one may gain tuition here too with friendly and enthusiastic professionals. Except the disco, you're on your own there guys you've either got it or you've not!
At the indoor ice rink there are little buddies that the kids can get hold of for keeping them upright here too: penguin skating aids! They're cute but sturdy and have handles either side of them for kids to cling to as they find their feet. No backache for you tomorrow mum - let the penguin take the strain! There's full skate hire too. Ice skating lessons are available for those wishing to perfect their skills on the ice.
Swimming and Fitness
A multi-use sports hall provides a variety of activities and fun for children to help with school holiday boredom. The 25-metre swimming pool offers plenty of space for family fun splashing around or getting some serious strokes in! Fancy a fitness class? Then why not take part in the many sessions run for both juniors and adults.
