About South Norwood Leisure Centre
South Norwood Leisure Centre on Portland Road, close to Selhurst Park football ground, is a well-loved neighbourhood centre with a 25-metre main pool and a separate teaching pool for younger swimmers and lessons. The centre offers free swimming for under-16s at set times, and works with swimming, canoe and underwater hockey clubs alongside local schools. There's a 32-station gym, a sprung-floor studio running around 30 classes a week including popular aqua aerobics, and it's known for being accessible, well-connected and genuinely part of the South Norwood community.
