Brockwell Park Miniature Railway
Herne Hill, Greater LondonAbout Brockwell Park Miniature Railway
The Brockwell Park Miniature Railway has been operating in the grounds of Brockwell Park since 2003 and has been enjoyed by thousands of families looking for something different to do in South London. Enjoy a ride behind our unique Intercity 125 or LNER Y6 Tram Engine and on selected days we'll also have our American Style Steam Engine running too.
Every visitor receives a traditional Edmonson railway ticket for your return journey between the Herne Hill Gates and the Brockwell Lido. On the way you may spot a few animals in the woods alongside the track.
On site there is a small souvenir shop to take home a memento of your day. The carriages are designed to take adults and children so the whole family can enjoy the ride.
There's group discounts available as well. Please note the limited opening times. There are limited facilities due to the fact that it is in a public park. All rides are weather permitting.
Herne Hill station is permanently staffed so there's always someone to look after prams, pushchairs and bags. Although there is disabled access to the railway unfortunately they are unable to carry wheelchairs do to the size of the carriages. Please ring or email to see if they can help meet your needs.
