Polaris Bushcraft was founded in 2012 to provide teaching in bushcraft and survival skills, both ancient and modern that enable us to thrive and survive in the natural environment.
We offer Bushcraft day workshops and overnight survival weekends for families and adults.
Our 45 acre private ancient woodland camp is in Bayford, near Hertford, with direct train link to London.

With direct train link to London, our base camp has private secure car parking and no public footpaths so you can relax and unwind in the wilderness whilst learning essential bushcraft and survival skills!
The most popular workshops and weekends focus on essential bushcraft skills for the outdoor enthusiast such as fire lighting, shelter building and finding and purifying water. Suitable for beginners and with tools/materials provided, they also run foraging days and other workshops on woodcarving, axe skills, bow making and more.
Using the natural resources all around us, learn the essential Bushcraft skills covering fire, shelter and water, giving you knowledge and confidence to survive in the wild through our offering of day workshops & weekends.
