Lee Valley Boat Centre
Broxbourne, HertfordshireAbout Lee Valley Boat Centre
At just a stone's throw from Broxbourne train station Lee Valley Boat Centre is the prefect place to have fun on the water. You can hire an electric pleasure craft, pedalo or rowing boat and navigate the river. Situated within the picturesque River Lee Country Park, there's so much more to see and do.
If you've still got energy to burn, why not hire a bike and build up some speed along miles of surfaced pathways. If adrenalin sports are your thing, you can stop off at the brand new Lee Valley White Water Centre along the way. The centre is home to the London 2012 Canoe Slalom events, and from April 2011 you'll be able to enjoy thrilling white water rafting. If the thrill of white water rafting's not for you, the cafe terrace offers the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the views as fellow rafters are pushed to their limits.
If you're looking to relax, enjoy a leisurely stroll or simply take time out and unwind with a picnic whilst watching the abundance of wildlife go by.
If that's not enough, a 10 minute drive away is Lee Valley Park Farms.
