Attraction Information

Search high, low and just about everywhere on The Hertford Mystery Treasure Trail. You’re sure to see some fantastic sights as you sniff out buried treasure!

On this self-guided journey follow a fixed walking route with clues to lead the way. The answers to these will be your leading lights and can be found on plaques, buildings and local landmarks all over, so keep your eyes peeled! Hertford itself is a lovely old market town and would be a great place to explore- especially all those nooks and crannies!

Before you do anything however, be sure to download your trail PDF. It’s got all the information you need and offers an easy way to enjoy an ad hoc day out. The route is approximately 2 miles long and takes around 2 hours to complete, so plenty of time to stop for a picnic.
