One of the unique aspects of Parkside Farm PYO is the wide variety of crops available for picking. There's always something in season, from juicy strawberries in June to sweet corn in the autumn. This variety means that no two visits are the same, and it’s a great way to teach children about the different seasons and the foods that come with them. Back problems? You won't have to bend to get the best fresh fruit with a selection of "table-top" crops, including lots of berries, redcurrant and vegetables.
Did you know that they also sell rare breed meat and free-range eggs? Make sure to stop by the Parkside Farm Shop for Dexter beef, rare breed pork and lamb!
Fruit picking is extremely popular with kids. Your little ones will love getting lost between the crops and eating fruit right off the field. Plus, those happy strawberry-covered faces are totally worth the trip to Parkside Farm!

You'll have to book a ticket in advance, but (other than the booking fee) this will be refunded as credit against your fruit purchase!
There were plenty of fruits to pick, the strawberries were at an elevated level, so very easy to pick. The Raspberries were amazing and the blackberries sensational; I have never seen them that big!
The vegetables were a bit disappointing, but we would definitely return here for fruit picking.
Tip for parents - dress your child in dark clothes as fruit stains!
