Families listen up! Hatfield Leisure Centre is about to open a brand new activity - the Inflatable Zone! This new attraction within the centre offers the chance for kids to bounce, climb, slide, jump and crawl their way over the giant feature-rich inflatable obstacle course! Blending action-packed activity with a fun way to get fit.
Please note: Rules apply, and a safety briefing is mandatory before entering the inflatable. So, please come dressed, ready to play, and at least 15 minutes before your session.
Hatfield Leisure Centre is committed to keeping families active and entertained. They offer a wide range of facilities and activities, including a state-of-the-art gym, multi-use sports hall, squash courts, 3G pitches and an extensive fitness class programme, with classes including group cycling, box fit, pilates and yoga! Transport Information
By Train:
To reach Hatfield Leisure Centre by train, take a train to Hatfield Train Station, which is on the Great Northern line from London King's Cross. The station is around 1.5 miles from the leisure centre, making it a short journey by taxi, bus, or even a brisk walk.
From London King's Cross: Trains to Hatfield typically take around 20-25 minutes.
From Stevenage: Trains from Stevenage to Hatfield take approximately 15 minutes.
Once you arrive at Hatfield Train Station, you can take a bus or taxi to the leisure centre.
By Bus:
Several buses serve the area around Hatfield Leisure Centre, making it accessible by public transport.
From Hatfield Train Station:
Take the Arriva 602 or Sullivan Buses 300/301 from the station towards St Albans or Welwyn Garden City, and get off at Travellers Lane. The leisure centre is just a short walk from there.
Alternatively, local bus services such as the University Shuttle (Uno) also provide connections between Hatfield Town Centre, the University, and surrounding areas, including stops near the leisure centre.
By Car:
If you're driving to Hatfield Leisure Centre, the venue is conveniently located just off Travellers Lane, close to the A1(M) motorway, providing easy access from various directions.
From London (Northbound): Take the A1(M) and exit at Junction 3. Follow signs for Hatfield, and then Travellers Lane, where the leisure centre is located.
From Stevenage and the North (Southbound): Follow the A1(M) and exit at Junction 3. Continue along the Hatfield exit and follow signs for Travellers Lane.
