Attraction Information

If you love the classics like boat trips, tearooms and gorgeous gardens (who doesn’t?) Paxton House is the lovely country spot for you.

Take a tour of the fascinating Palladian mansion which houses impressive furniture and some beautiful collections of art and artefact. If that sounds a little stuffy for your mini adventurers, never fear as kids will love the dressing up area and taking a trip down the teddy trail!

Enjoy the extensive grounds filled with some lovely ornamental flora and classic architecture. Again feel free to flip tradition on its head with an adventure play-park (complete with zip-wire!), wildlife spotting, boat trips and riverside walks. Play croquet on the putting green, lunch in the Stables tearoom and relax in the courtyard with giant games for the children. With a range of special exhibitions, events and children's activities throughout the year, Paxton House is a one-stop-shop for a great family day out.
