About Chain Bridge Honey Farm

At Chain Bridge Honey Farm the visitor centre was established in the early 1990s to allow the public to discover first-hand the extraordinary tale of bees and honey. The displays and records are handmade, hand drawn and hand written in calligraphy so although it's informative it's also a really appealing little place that kids will enjoy the atmosphere of as well as learn from.

A most popular display is the observation hive where a living colony of bees can be viewed behind glass. You might watch these fascinating creatures for hours, particularly if you embark upon a quest for the queen! See the bees visibly bringing in pollen on their hind legs and performing quite captivating dances as they 'speak' to each other.
