Beadnell Beach The main attraction of Beadnell for grown ups is its magnificent golden sandy beach, intriguing limekilns, small harbour, beautiful coastline, and views to the distant Cheviot Hills. For the kids however it's all about the clear clean water, the potential for dune sledging and the thriving local watersports scene including, diving, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, sea canoeing and waterskiing! Wow!
Cycling is particularly enjoyable in this area, with a variety of quiet country lanes and bridle paths, where the cyclist will find spectacular views to the coast, and Cheviot Hills in the distance.
In terms of immediate vicinity amenities it's a lovely quiet bay with no flashy touristy nonsense but at the same time the charmiing Beadnell Village is only a short distance away offering hospitality and refreshment plus souvenirs and twee streets fun to explore.
Ramblers will delight in the miles of unspoilt footpaths, beach and country walks. The varied terrain is easily accessible by foreshore and footpaths.
