Golden Gate Boat Trips
Seahouses, NorthumberlandAbout Golden Gate Boat Trips
Golden Gate Boat Trips are one of the few registered operators offering tours and cruises around the Seahouses region. There's a full commentary on every cruise, typically informative and lightly amusing, aimed at families.
Sightseeing options to choose from include a 2 hour guided tour cruise which takes you inside Longstone Lighthouse and sails around the bird sanctuaries and seal hot spots. This is very popular with young families as there's usually plenty to see on the wildlife front.
There are also several cruise tours around the Bird Sanctuaries to be had with stops included, usually running a little longer than the lighthouse tour, plus a no stop simple cruise version where everybody stays on board throughout.
The all day excursion is clearly for older and hardier types at some 5.5 hours and takes in everything included in the other tours combined, offering a fun filled day of natural wonders and light adventure.
