Thirlestane Castle is a magnificent 16th Century Castle set in a quiet meadow landscape, the fairytale exterior makes it the perfect place for a magical day out.
Come and explore one of Scotland's oldest castles with all of its grandeur and majesticness. First take the I-Spy challenge, a fun game to help families uncover the secrets the castle holds! What will you spot? There is even a giant dolls house with some toys you can play with, great interactive history.
Then let the little ones loose on the adventure playground and take them on a lovely stroll on the riverside paths to let off a little steam. When you’re done get a yummy bite to eat in the tea room serving light lunches and snacks.
