About North Bay Railway Scarborough

If your kids just love railway attractions, take them on a picturesque ride along the historic North Bay Railway! You’ll not only get to soak in the beautiful views of Scarborough's North Bay, but you’ll also have the chance to experience history. This 20 inch gauge railway has been running along the line from Peasholm Park to Scalby Mills since 1931, which makes it one of the oldest seaside miniature railways in the country.

There’s a whole (train) load of exciting family-friendly attractions along the railway! From the thrilling Sky Trail Adventure high ropes course, to Lake Adventures, including Water Chutes and Water Walking - your day out can be as thrilling, as you’d like it to be.
