Fun Activities For Thrill Seekers
Now, before all adventures commence a safety briefing must take place. This usually lasts between 15-20 minutes but don't worry it isn't all boring videos and reading manuals, you get to take part in a safety practice on a smaller high-ropes course. So, you can get familiar with the harness and where each hook clips onto. Once this part of the session is over, you can embrace hours of canopy exploring, and awesome zip-wires, and begin the ultimate forest adventure!
Now onto the adventure!
You’ll find your next family adventure hidden away on the southern slopes of the North York Moors National Park, with intricate crossings, rope ladders, wobbly bridges, high-wire bridges and of course, the high-ropes. Your tiny monkeys can join the fun, thanks to the Treetop Adventure, which is designed for anyone over 1 metre tall. For the bigger kids, there’s the awesome Treetop Challenge with its hill-to-hill forest zip lines, twister crossings and Tarzan swings.
Once you’ve climbed high into the forest canopy, fantastic views are kind of a given. The Vale of Pickering is a whole other ball game though, with incredible views of the Great Yorkshire Forest! So, why not wander around and scour the forest floor, and traverse miles of lovely walking trails, right up to Staindale Lake? There's so much more than a high ropes adventure on offer at Go Ape!
Food & Drink
Has all that monkeying around got your belly rumbling and your throat dry? Refuel on with delicious snacks and beverages from the onsite cafe/restaurant. There are lots of idyllic picnic sites to kick back, relax and crack open a picnic basket.
