Woldies is an award‑winning, family-run attraction nestled in a peaceful 12-acre setting on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, close to Malton. Let kids roam free across a vast timber trail, giant willow maze then let loose in the sand and water play zones. From building dens to tackling football golf and giant garden games, there's heaps of activities to do – so you'll need to make a day of it. Be sure to take a ride on the charming miniature railway, which winds through wildflower meadows, woodland, ponds and even a fun tunnel.

Award winning family day out in a beautiful setting

Families love Woldies for its perfect mix of outdoor adventure, nature exploration, and peaceful relaxation. Set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, this family-run attraction offers something for all ages, from toddlers to grandparents.

Children are drawn to the natural play zones, which include sand pits, water features, mud kitchens, rope swings, and obstacle trails. The miniature train ride through the wildflowers and woodland is a highlight for many.

Two large mazes, giant games like foot-golf and foot-pool, and interactive trails – such as seasonal nature missions – keep kids entertained and engaged with their surroundings.

Nature lovers enjoy butterfly and bee gardens, wildlife ponds, tree trails, and a brilliant observation bee hive.
