For the leisurely and casual golfer the newly refurbished 18 hole mini golf course in Lister Gardens provides a fun and accessible challenge ideal for a tournament with players of all ages. It's mini golf, not 'crazy' or 'adventure' so don't expect oodles of comedy obstacles or novelty hazards - what you can expect however is well maintained surfacing, pleasant landscaping and sneaky low par holes where a hole in one is more than possible if you think it through and have the skill to drop it in! Beginners will find it just as enjoyable however with simple set ups and easy outs from the few little traps.
With spectacular views of The Cobb, the beach and the coastline up to Portland on a clear day, the course is a popular way to spend an hour or so in the town's award-winning parkland.
Plus putting green and table tennis, new woodland boardwalk and award winning seafront gardens, so it's well worth having a proper wander around before or after, or even bringing a picnic along!
