Attraction Information
For all animal-loving families head off to Ferne Animal Sanctuary for a day of animal adventure.
Beginning life as a short-term refuge for animals during the Second World War, the sanctuary has been home to adorable animals ever since. Get up close to family favourites like dogs and cats. See majestic horses, hopping mad rabbits and long-tailed ponies. The aim of the sanctuary is to nurture and protect these animals in the hope of one day finding them a loving family to care for them.
Let your kids get at one with the outdoors and set off on the nature trail to see what there is to discover, and explore. They can run, climb and slide their way up and down the play area. A day spent exploring, learning and discovering in an animal haven. Tuck into some tasty refreshments at the onsite cafe, or spend pocket money in the charity shop. The best part of all, you could look into adding a furry friend to your family.
