About Hawkridge Bird of Prey Centre
Hawkridge Birds of Prey Centre is privately run by husband and wife team and offers a good variety of experiences, although all by appointment only.
The Centre is set within over 100 acres of Devonshire country side, surrounded by a deer park, providing a great backdrop for the experiences.
A good selection of birds to see and learn about including kestrels, hawks, falcons and owls. The staff there are friendly and knowledgeable and look after the birds well.
There are a number of courses and experiences offered including some specifically for kids. You can choose from a Junior Falconer for the day or a half day child's owl experience. These are educational as well as exciting.
The family experience gives you the opportunity to meet and even fly some of the birds. Hawk walks, handling and half and full day experiences also available.
All experiences are sold on voucher basis so please check the website. Vouchers are valid for a year.
