This beautiful country park has a variety of activities, including wildlife spotting, sailing and fishing. There are also circular routes that provide a great opportunity to explore the natural scenery.
For anyone looking for a scenic walk, Jumbles Country Park has plenty of different walking routes to choose from! From off-the-beaten quiet pathways winding through wild orchids and garlic (can you imagine how nice that must smell?!) to a circular walking route around Jumbles Reservoir and a woodland trail, there is no shortage of paths to choose from and nature to explore.
There is also a range of accessible walking routes!
If you want to spend more time near water, then the Jumbles Reservoir is the place to be! This walk has a generally flat walking ground and is approximately 2 miles long. You'll see different birds and resident wildlife as you slowly wander around the circular trail. Not to mention the beautiful views of the reservoir! It's well worth a visit!
Pssttt... don't just take our word for it! The circular path around the reservoir is actually a popular walking trail for locals.
And there are plenty of picnic spots, picnic tables and benches along the reservoir path - perfect for those mid-walk snack breaks overlooking the water.
Oh, and for those sailing enthusiasts why not check out Jumbles Sailing Club? Hit up the sails and set sail on the reservoir. If you have a fishing permit, you can also head to the reservoir for a fun fishing day out!

Travelling by Bus
You can take the 480 bus from Bolton Bus Station (Bolton Interchange) to Bury Interchange (which stops on Bradshaw Road). Then it's just a short walk to the park.
