One of the main highlights of Smithills Farm is the animal encounters. Visitors have the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of farm animals, including cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens. There's also more unusual species like Burmese pythons, there’s a lot to learn about and as a working farm there are always new arrivals! Yes, that's right baby animals! Get ready for super cuteness.
Animal Feeding and Petting Corner
There are also daily feeding sessions where guests can help with animal food and interact with the animals. We think this provides a great hands-on learning experience for children and adults alike. Kids will also love Pet Corner where they can hold and snuggle with all the baby animals and small guinea pigs and rabbits.
