Arreton Craft Barns
Arreton, Isle of WightAbout Arreton Craft Barns
The Arreton Craft Barns is a free attraction boasting a huge range of craft shops to peruse, most with options to see the craftsmen making their trade with both modern and traditional techniques, including glass making, leather works, sweet making, wood turning and ceramic work. A more interesting kind of shop than the kids are accustomed to!
There are happily also plenty of things to see and explore that nobody wants you to buy, including a charming 12th century church and carp pond.
The historic setting makes the experience all the more enjoyable and special events occur at the attraction all year round, usually family oriented with additional activities laid on.
If you've been clever and planned ahead then the highlight of the day will be their special event, with their offerings ranging throughout the year
You've also got the option for high class snack at the great Maltings Tea Rooms or their special tavern The Dairyman's Daughter for a traditional family pub experience where they also host a frequent and varying range of live musical performances to accompany your tea. Lovely!
Opening Times
