Isle of Wight Ghost Experience
Cowes, Isle of WightAbout Isle of Wight Ghost Experience
Isle of Wight Ghost Experience are immersive guided ghost tours that last around an hour an a half, featuring grisly local history tales and costumed actors who replay the historic scenes and act out the ghost stories! Informative and educational but above all else tremendously entertaining, if you've got the bottle for it!
The tours have varying local departure points and range in theme including Shanklin Old Village, Carisbrooke and Castle, Fort Victoria, Arreton Trail, Niton Walk and original Newport Ghost Tour, plus one based around the Ventnor Botanical Gardens. Each tour carries well-researched information and visits the actual physical locations of the dark deeds and horrible histories they're describing.
Best for brave over 8s as on top of the indubitably spooky content there will be at certain points be sudden noises and surprises! Fun for sure, but potentially upsetting for small and sensitives. For that same reason the family hound is discouraged from attending with you if he's a nervous sort!
