In the heart of Islington might not be where you’d expect to find a taste of the country, however that’s what you get at Freightliners Farm.

This real working farm is home to farm favourites and its own beehives and bee garden that have been buzzing around the farmyard for nearly 20 years.

Islington has a long traditions of close links with farming and animals, which is why the farm is dedicated to protecting and keeping animals that are part of the rare breed's programme, which means they’re not kept commercially and are, therefore, at risk of disappearing.
