About West Reservoir Centre
West Reservoir Centre in Woodberry Down is a genuinely unique family day out - open water swimming and watersports on a 23-acre natural reservoir, just a short walk from Manor House station. As an RYA and British Canoeing accredited training centre, kids can try certificated sailing and kayaking courses with expert instructors, and the Youth Club (ages 8-17) offers informal sessions in dinghy sailing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding. School holiday multi-activity clubs run 10am-4pm and pack in sailing, kayaking, canoeing and team games. There's a waterside cafe to refuel afterwards, and first-time swimmers just need a quick induction before donning the required red swim cap.
