The main draw for families at Sobell Leisure Centre is the fabulous little Sobell Safari indoor playground, but as it's for under 10s it's really handy that your older kids can go elsewhere on site to enjoy ice skating, indoor and outdoor football facilities, climbing wall, badminton and squash!
Some of these features need to have courts or sessions booked so plan ahead, but the 32m ice skating rink has plenty of room (as well as music and lighting effects!) so you can just turn up.
The play area itself is spread over 3 floors and is packed full of hills for small folk, including log ramps, ball pits, cargo nets, maze, tunnels and slides. And loads of other munchkins to play with! They are now also offering trampolining and gymnastics courses, which range in age groups from pre-school to over 11s.
A great way to keep fit, develop skills, and learn some cool tricks to show off in gym class! Parties! With friendly and professional supervision and loads of fun activities to enjoy, your birthday child is sure to have a party that will get the whole playground talking! From Soft Play and Toddler Football for the smaller ones, to cool Rock-Climbing and Skateboarding options for the bigger jobs, there really is something exciting for everybody!
And their swimming parties are brilliant for water babies of all ages. They'll handle all the 'little things' too: like party bags, invitations, thank-you cards and even a birthday card for the birthday child and a free gift! Plus of course they'll take care of the cleaning up afterwards – so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your child's special day with them.
