Located in Kentish Town,Talacre Community Sports Centre is adjacent to the green space of Talacre Park which provides an attractive and open aspect to the Sports Centre. Our centre incorporates a variety of outstanding multi-use outdoor and indoor facilities with a stimulating range of activities for all ages and abilities. Facilities include an excellent 7 a-side floodlight Astro pitch, a versatile sports hall for a variety of activities including basketball, badminton, football, gymnastics, an adventurous soft play structure for children. The centre is the home of Camden‚ Sports Development Team who deliver a very popular and extensive gymnastics timetable for all ages. We are conveniently located with excellent public transport links making the centre a great place to meet friends and benefit from the facilities, whatever your age or ability
Brand-New Soft Play Opening Early 2026
Camden Council is transforming family fun at Talacre Community Sports Centre with the introduction of a brand-new soft play zone as part of broader improvements to the centre. The revamped area will feature an exciting three-level play structure, including a dedicated space for under 3s, creating a safe and stimulating environment for the youngest visitors.
Children under 10 will be able to explore a range of active and imaginative activities, including a mini sports pitch, crawl tunnels, slides, and interactive play panels — all thoughtfully designed to promote physical development, coordination, and social interaction.
For parents and carers, the updated soft play area provides a welcoming and comfortable space to unwind, connect, and enjoy quality time, while their little ones play, learn, and burn off energy in a safe, engaging environment.
