Brand-New Soft Play Now Open!
Young adventurers under 10 can enjoy active, imaginative play with features such as a mini sports pitch, crawl tunnels, slides and interactive play panels — all designed to support physical development, coordination and social skills.
7-a-side Floodlit Astro Pitch
Not only is football a great game to watch, but you'll also benefit from training and playing regularly. From kids to adults, here are some reasons why having a kickabout will help your score a health hattrick:
- Improves your heart health and lowers blood pressure - as long as you keep moving throughout the game, you'll be getting your blood pumping and contributing to your overall heart health
- Social benefits - football is a great way to spend quality time with friends and family in turn supporting positive mental health
- Build strength, speed and stamina - remember, you're using power and strength to get the ball in the back of the net, tackling an opponent or to your teammate
- Training your brain - what's your next move? How can you get the ball forward? All these tactics need to be worked out
- Reducing body fat - as football is a cardio exercise, you'll be using up calories and burning fat
- Increase muscle mass and body strength - football involves running and sprinting, which helps build muscle and power in your legs
Brand-New Performing Arts Programme
We are jumping, turning and leaping with excitement to welcome you to join our Performing Arts lessons!
Do you have a child who is interested in dancing? They could learn Ballet with us at Talacre.
Our courses run from tots to teens providing community arts based education. Come and join one of our classes and immerse yourself in a world of fun, creativity and self-expression.
Each lesson will be working towards an "Open Studio/Watching Week " session where parents and families are invited in to see exactly what their children have achieved. Details of this will be shared towards the end of term.
Get ready to be inspired! We can't wait to welcome you to the stage.
