Attraction Information
One of Hackneys best loved traditional river parks, with a rich history, this former country house estate, Clissold Park, was first opened to the public in 1889.
The Green Flag Award Scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country. Hackney currently has one of the highest totals of Green Flag Awards in London.
Facilities include children's play area, basketball and tennis courts, conservation and woodland areas including a deer enclosure, and organic nature garden and butterfly tunnel (Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30 to 14:30).
They offer a summer paddling pool that opens Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays, 11:00 to 19:00.
They also have ping pong tables but remember to take your own bats and ball.
