Attraction Information
BHS approved Country Treks Equestrian Centre is set on a 27 acre nature reserve and offers everything from instructional treks for absolute beginners to 4 day trail rides for those with a real sense of adventure! They pride themselves on their fantastic horses, breathtaking scenery and flexible packages and there is a lot to choose from.
Country Treks is extremely child friendly with early years lessons, hacks, pony club, pony days and seasonal children's events! There are even Pony And Play sessions aimed at kids as young as 2 years old to acclimatise them to the environment and develop their confidence with horses, petting, grooming and exploring the beautiful woodland trail.
Their wide selection of ponies have been carefully chosen for their good temperment and positive experience with young riders. There are also qualified and supportive EFL lessons available for young riders with physical and learning disabilities.
There are lots of routes to choose from for the Day Rides and they all offer differing scenery like a wood full of deer and a massive waterfall! There are also varying meal stops for each one ranging from restaurants to ice cream parlours via chippies.
Massive adventures for competent riders! Additional events here include Pony Camps, seasonal fancy dress days and Teddy Bears' Picnic sessions held out in the woods with treasure hunt and picnic! Bonus!
