With a variety of walking, cycling, running and horse trails available, there's plenty of ways to explore the forest. We also have a tramper available to hire for those with limited mobility.
Those looking for a more peaceful time can enjoy the more remote spots in the heart of the forest.
Go Ape-ventures
Have we got some daredevils in the family? Push yourself out of your comfort zone and monkey around in the treetops on the Go Ape course! It will keep the kids (and adults!) entertained as you tackle obstacles and take on Tarzan swings! Finish with an epic zip wire finale that stretches across the forest skyline.
There are Sensory Walks available too whereby users are given a guide from short loop trails to long loops, that highlight all the best areas with the ultimate sensory experience. Feel different textures of bark on trees like Black Pear, Field Maples and Whitebeam! See all the different metal sculptures and hear the birds chirp through the trees alongside the babbling brook.

Food & Drink
After you've scoped the treetops and zipped around on the cycling trails, feel free to grab yourself a cuppa and a hot meal from The Forest Café. There are plenty of nutritional children's meals as well as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
In the Winter months, warm up with a burger, jacket potatoes or the soup of the day! And in the Summer? Grab yourself a sandwich or some nachos and cool off with an ice cream! You can even order a hearty breakfast until 12pm!
The cafe has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and facilities for dogs too, with towels, water bowls, dog chews and more on offer.
