Bridgnorth, ShropshireAbout River Severn Canoes
Embark on an unforgettable canoe adventure and explore the natural wonders of River Severn. Choose from a wide selection of self-guided trips, all designed for the best day outdoors with your friends and family. Suitable for age 7+ (dogs are welcome to join in too!)
Take your family for an unforgettable day filled with laughter, splashes, and adventure. Get away from the hustle and bustle with our self-guided canoe trips and experience all the natural beauty the River Severn has to offer: breathtaking landscape, clear waters, and vibrant wildlife.
As the longest river in the UK, Severn has some of the most beautiful vistas in the country. There is no better way to explore them yourself than peacefully gliding through its waters. Depending on the trip you choose, some stretches of the river are quite tranquil, offering a great starting point for beginners. There are a few small rapids along the way, but nothing to worry about.
Pack a picnic and enjoy one of the many pretty places to stop along the way or there are a couple of pubs you can stop at en route if you'd prefer a hot meal.
Our canoe trips are self-guided, but our qualified instructors will give you a full briefing before you head off and help you get on the water. We follow the river down and are at various points along the way should you need our assistance. Buoyancy aids are provided and we ask that you are confident in and around water.
