Dinosaur Expeditions CIC

Dinosaur Expeditions CIC is a community interest company designed to promote responsible fossil recovery and as a family educational resource. The field centre has fossils on display, plus Paleoart, guided tour to participate in and some activities just for the kids too! They also organise public fossil hunting trips several times throughout the year in different locations, led by fully experienced guides who'll take you to the best spots! You also get to keep any fossils that you find and there are talks and activities to get the most education out of it. Famiies are welcome on the trips. Please make sure you wear sensible footwear and clothing on the trips and the beach can be slippery and wet, plus the wind can be cold. The centre is still being worked on but the staff are so knowledgable that the kids will still learn a lot, although you may prefer to book a private fossil trip if anyone in the family is fossil mad. The guides who lead family trips are very patient and understanding of the fact that you may be going at a slower pace if you have little ones with you, which means you can enjoy the trip at your own pace.
