Returning this autumn - Sundown Adventures!
Back by popular demand. Experience tree top thrills in a whole new light across 25 locations for a limited time between 17th October and 9th November. Go Ape Sundown Adventures offer a new level of forest fun in the dark. Become a creature of the night as you climb through the canopy on a high ropes course lit with colourful lights. Test your skills on tree top crossings and experience the thrill of a zip wire ride into the darkness. It's a unique opportunity to enjoy the forest's beauty and experience the adrenaline rush of adventure after dark. The experience takes one to two hours, and the Go Ape team are around to help throughout. It starts with a safety briefing and harness fitting. For ages 6 and up (minimum height 1.2 metres) this is an adventure that will delight kids and adults alike.
Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers
Home to the Treetop Challenge, Treetop Challenge Xpress Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus courses, there really is something for the whole family. Go Ape Alexandra Park offers an exhilarating experience for every age and every experience level (from newbies to the ultimate thrill seekers)!
Have younger children? The Treetop Adventure course is for them! In this high-flying thrill, participants will spend one-hour tackling various crossings and ending in an epic zip line back to the forest floor. They will enjoy panoramic views as they zip through the trees.
Try the Treetop Adventure Plus course for children looking for the next level but not quite ready for the Treetop Challenge course. The Treetop Adventure Plus course is an extension of the Treetop Adventure course and is designed to give children above 1.2m and over six years old the next step in their adventure! With even more exciting challenges and ropes experiences, they'll head for heights at Go Ape!
For one hour, participants will have full access to the adventure loops of the course and then be able to go to the next level of crossings, ending in a zip-wire finale! For adults over 1.4m high, there's the Treetop Challenge course, complete with challenging courses, a high-flying zip-line experience, and more!
Fancy a quick challenge? Enjoy all the thrill in half the time with the Treetop Challenge Xpress. Tackle intricate crossings and wobbly bridges before testing your limits on the butterfly-inducing Tarzan Swing and a 46ft plummet!

Treetop Challenge is a thrilling course featuring 2 loops of high-flying adventure. This experience offers the chance to conquer obstacles, and enjoy breathtaking views of London from the canopy, 2 exhilarating zip wires offering breathtaking views from heights of up to 15m above the floor.
Test your mettle with the 15-meter Plummet, an adrenaline-pumping descent sure to get your heart racing.
Make a day of it
The 196-acres of park also offers both formal gardens and woodlands.
There’s a boating lake with a range of boats including pedalos and classic rowing boats, and you can put your golfing skills to the test on the pitch and putt course. Head over to the park’s Ice Rink to for some slippery (and cold) fun on the ice and there’s also a skate park for boarders to hone their skills and tricks.
Most Sundays you’ll find the farmers’ market at Ally Pally selling local produce from over 30-stalls and if you’re feeling peckish and in need of refreshments there is the Lakeside Café and the Grove Café.
