Whether you’re up for a leisurely stroll, or you fancy taking the designated cycling route, you’ll get to enjoy fresh air and beautiful scenery along the canal. Walthamstow Wetlands is also a great place for bird watchers. Try to spot all of the Big Six - cormorants, little egrets, grey herons, shovelers, gadwalls and tufted ducks!
At Walthamstow Wetlands you can enjoy an exciting programme of weekly and seasonal activities for families with kids. From Forest School (3-5) to Bushcraft (6-11), your little explorers will have plenty of fun in nature and learn handy skills to keep for a lifetime.
