Attraction Information
BHS approved Wellgrove Farm Stables offer a variety of well mannered mounts for scenic hacks either riding some of the many bridlepaths around the area or, for those less experienced and younger riders, a jaunt in their own small area of woodland. It's a lovely quiet way to introduce the smalls to riding and the staff are well experienced and by all reports great with kids.
They specialise in dressage training and in particular the formation of novice partnerships, so if the kids are wanting to take it further this is an excellent place to be able to do so without changing stables once it's become their comfort zone.
Lessons are available from 3 years upwards and they also have a pony club! Youngsters start with friendly and supportive almost play style lessons that teach them the basics swiftly, simply and memorably. The kids will be show jumping before you know it!
There are also Summer Pony Camps held every year which give your horse mad munchkins the chance to try a bit of grooming and stable management as well as a ride, plus they also offer kids' birthday parties, which are a great and unusual way to celebrate your little one's next big day! Plus there are seasonal ride outs and pony club rallies too.
